LIABILITY WAIVER

Voluntary participation

I confirm that I am voluntarily participating in the climbing activities at Ronimisministeerium.

We would like to draw your attention to the Estonian Climbing Association’s warning that climbing is an activity that can cause injuries. Persons engaging in these activities must be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their actions and their consequences, including when participating in training sessions and/or sessions.

Exempting the organizer from liability

I am aware of the risks associated with climbing and confirm that Ronimisministeerium and its representatives are not liable for any consequences of my actions, which may include damage to health or property. Exemption from liability does not apply in the case of negligent or intentional damage caused by the organiser or its representative.

State of health

The climber’s health must allow climbing. If you are in any doubt about whether your medical condition allows you to climb, please consult a doctor.

Children

Minors must be accompanied by an adult at Ronimisministeerium. Running and playing in the climbing area is prohibited, except during training sessions and/or when participating in instructor-led activities. The risk of injury, for example caused by a falling climber falling, is high! Please inform children accordingly.

Ronimisministeerium house rules:

1. It is forbidden to wear outdoor shoes on the premises, outdoor shoes are to be left on a shelf by the front door.

2. On exit from the changing room, make sure the locker door is open and the key is in in the lock.

3. Disinfect the climbing shoes after use and put all the training equipment back in place. Keep things tidy and clean.

Ronimisministeerium climbing rules:

  1. Climbing in socks or barefoot is forbidden.
  2. When climbing, you must check the safety of the fall area, including the absence of obstructions and people.
  3. When moving around or climbing in the climbing area, care must be taken not to move under or climb over the climber.
  4. It is forbidden to take food or drinks to the climbing area (grey matt area).
  5. When reaching the top of a route, climb down if possible and avoid jumping down. If there is a risk of falling, jump away from the wall and make a controlled fall: feet shoulder-width apart with knees slightly bent.
  6. If there are spinning holds on the wall, you are requested to tighten them using bolt tightening wrench (hex key) which is located next to the first aid kit.
  7. When climbing, place the chalk bag in a bucket or on concrete floor.
  8. Climbers must be careful and respect other climbers.

I confirm that I have carefully read this liability waiverand understand all the rules, their content and their meaning and I agree to be bound by and comply by these terms and conditions. In the event of non-compliance with the rules, Ronimisministeerium reserves the right to expel the offender from the climbing area or, if necessary, from Ronimisministeerium. In this case, no refund will be given for the purchased ticket.
