TICKET
Ronimisministeerium is an unmanned climbing gym. This means that we do not have an administrator on site, and for regular visits, everything is self-service. It’s simple: you need to buy a ticket from our webshop, after which we will send you an invoice and a separate e-mail with an “Open door” link to open the door (click on the link to open the door (click hereto watch a tutorial video).
Go to our website and log in to your account. You can find your door link under My Door Link.
If you need help, you can call us at +372 562 339 65 or email us at tallinn@ronimisministeerium.ee and we will help you find your ticket.
If you purchase an Advance Payment Card, you can use the money on the card to enter the gym without paying separately for climbing gear.
There is no time limit. You can climb until you can’t climb anymore!
With a regular ticket, you can enter at any time and leave whenever you like.
No. You can also visit us with a regular ticket.
However, if you visit us regularly, an x10 card or a monthly pass will be more affordable. Check our tickets HERE.
In case of 10x, 1, 3, 6 and 12-month passes, extension is possible by presenting us a medical certificate stating at least 1 week incapacity for training.
Notify us immediately in case of injury or illness. In case of a break of less than a week, the card will not be extended. The same applies if the notification came after the validity of the medical certificate stating incapacity for training.
In addition, monthly card holders can take a training holiday: 1 week for 1 month card holders, 3 weeks for 3 month card holders, 6 weeks for 6 month card holders and 12 weeks for 12 month card holders. If you want to take a training break in installments, you can do so in full weeks.
Monthly pass holders can take a training break in full-week increments. The pass can be paused for as many weeks as the number of months it is valid for:
1-month pass – 1 week
3-month pass – 3 weeks
6-month pass – 6 weeks
12-month pass – 12 weeks
You can pause your monthly pass yourself by logging in to your Ronimisministeerium account and finding the Dashboard under My Account.
Only people who climb need to pay. Spectators and supporters can enter for free.
At Ronimisministeerium, your personal identification code is used to distinguish between people with the same name.
We need to know who has accepted our Terms and Conditions and to check the Estonian Climbing Association’s belayer card database. This allows us to verify whether a visitor to a rope climbing gym has a valid belayer card, which entitles them to climb and belay independently.
In Estonia, a personal identification code is considered public information, much like a person’s name. The Commercial Register (Äriregister) allows anyone to access, free of charge, the personal identification codes of the board members of all of Estonia’s more than 300,000 companies.
EQUIPMENT
For bouldering, you only need climbing shoes (retail prices start at €80; rental is €2.50/€3.50). Having your own chalk bag can also be useful (retail prices start at €20; rental is €1).
Climbing requires special climbing shoes with narrow, highly grippy soles. You can rent climbing shoes at Ronimisministeerium. Climbing barefoot is not allowed for your own safety and hygiene.
We do not recommend climbing in regular indoor sports shoes, as climbing shoes allow you to put as much of your body weight as possible on your feet. Hanging on your arms unnecessarily will tire you out quickly. However, if you prefer to use your own indoor sports shoes, choose shoes with thin soles.
Please bring flip-flops or similar footwear for moving around the gym.
You can find rental shoes on the shelf next to the entrance to the climbing gym.. If you have paid for rental shoes through our online store, feel free to choose a suitable pair from the shelf yourself.
You don’t need to book rental shoes in advance. Please wear socks with your rental shoes.
Wear comfortable, sporty clothing that doesn’t restrict your movement, such as sweatpants and a T-shirt. We also recommend removing any jewellery and watches from your wrists.
Climbing is easier with short nails, so it’s a good idea to keep your nails short.
BOOKINGS
You need to make time for an introductory training session (instructor lead climbing), but you don’t need to do this to climb on your own. However, you need to buy a ticket and rental shoes from the online shop to get in, as we do not have a customer service representative on site.
We organise guided climbing sessions for adult groups on weekdays, including in the evenings. However, we don’t hold children’s birthday parties on weekday evenings, as the climbing gym is usually busy with regular visitors and training sessions at that time. There wouldn’t be enough space for a birthday group to fit comfortably.
ROPE GYM
Yes, you can climb with a rope at our Peterburi tee rope climbing gym.
All our other Ronimisministeerium gyms focus on bouldering, where the walls are up to 4 metres high and are cushioned by 30 cm-thick mats.
Yes, but you will need to visit during our instructor’s working hours.
To get a belayer card, you need to pass an exam.
If you don’t have any previous belaying experience, you can do the following:
- Register to our green or red belayer card course, which you can find under Services > Courses.
- Study and practise independently. You can find the green and red belayer card course materials under Services > Courses.
Once you have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills, you can register for the exam under Services > Courses > Examination for a Belayer Card. Exams take place Mon–Fri 16:00–20:00.
KIDS
Children are definitely welcome!
We have routes throughout the gym that are suitable for climbers aged 10 and up. In addition, we have two beginner and children’s walls where the spacing between the holds is suitable even for 3-year-olds.
You can find more information about children’s training here .
Absolutely! 4- and 5-year-olds can already be surprisingly good climbers, and 3-year-olds can often surprise their parents. The child in this video is under two years old.
Our smallest rental climbing shoes are size 24.
OTHER
Of course! Come on over and start climbing.
You can climb on your own, but keep in mind that climbing is also quite a social activity. You’ll probably soon find yourself discussing the nuances of a particular route with someone else, trying to figure out how to reach the top!
At the Peterburi tee rope climbing gym, beginners can climb on routes equipped with automatic belay devices (around 30 routes).
Of course! Ronimisministeerium offers fun and sporty activities for everyone – from children to seniors. We have a variety of climbing opportunities for both beginners and more advanced climbers.
You can start climbing on your own, but the best introduction to climbing you will get from our Bouldering ABC courses , where you get acquainted with climbing together with our instructor. More info on the dates check Ronimisministeerium Facebook Events .
In the rope climbing hall, beginners can climb routes equipped with automatic belay devices (approximately 30 routes).
Definitely! Ronimisministeeriumis tegeletakse rahnuronimisega ja köiejulgestusesronimisega. Mõlemad on võimalik teha iseseisvalt. Rahnuronimises ronitakse 4-meetristel ronimisseintel, mattide kohal. The wall is a solo climb, but the risk of making new friends on the same climb is pretty high whether you come alone or not.
In our high-walled hall on Peterburi tee, you can climb routes (around 30 of them) equipped with automatic belay devices.
In that case, it’s worth visiting one of our bouldering gyms. Bouldering takes place on climbing walls up to 4 metres high, and no ropes or other special equipment are needed.
Since the climbing walls aren’t very high, bouldering can be a good option if you’re afraid of heights.
Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome in our gyms. However, dogs are not allowed on the mats.
Contact us by email at tallinn@ronimisministeerium.ee or by phone at +372 562 339 65.
We can open the gym door for you so that you can pick up your forgotten item.
You can find information about our training sessions on our website under Services > Trainings.
Igal saalil on oma trennide kalender. Kui leiad trenni, mis sulle huvi pakub, siis võta otse ühendust treeneriga. Treenerite kontaktandmed leiad trennide kalendri alt.
